I'm a regular here. It is So Good. I strongly suggest the pickled mustard greens and fish soup, the spicy pork roll, or the Orange Beef. Yummy! Though I must say, I have enjoyed most everything I have tried from there. That's why I keep coming back. �
The staff is always polite and the food is always tasty. Especially the steamed dumplings and the lo-mein. The atmosphere is always relaxed and very causal.
Spent my 4 years college life there and went there at least once a week, very authentic Sichuan Food. Enjoyed it very time.

Best dining experience we’ve ever had at a local Asian restaurant! - Everything was impressive; From the servers willingness to help, to the owner coming out to chat with us and talk about his food. - Very clean environment, the presentation was nice, and the food was extremely tasty!! - Best fried rice I think I’ve ever had! - My wife and I got the Szechuan Beef, Chicken LoMein, Egg Drop Soup, & Hot Sour Soup! - Everything was excellent. Great experience on every level. Food was hot and fresh. Tasty and NO MSG. Service was impeccable even on a busy Friday night. It was obvious that the staff works together as a team and seem to be happy to be there. The owner even visits all the table for feedback and appreciation. You can tell that he genuinely cares. There is no substitute for leadership. Great atmosphere. Clean and the dining room is well maintained. We frequent The Magic Wok for all the reasons listed above. Thank you for making this possible.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. I’m originally from New York and getting the Chinese food is very difficult. We love it here, so much that we drive an hour each way just to come here almost weekly. My favorites are the chicken and broccoli, honey chicken, and eggrolls. My hubby likes the beef and broccoli. Also I like the honeydew milk tea. This is one of the best place I’ve been.
Yes, this place has Authentic Szechuan food. The owner is really nice and the food is amazing. A gem in Johnson City and a must try.
My wife, brothers, mom, friends and I eat here a lot. The authentic Szechuan food is excellent! The shredded pork sauteed with pickled mustard greens is always on our order list. The owner is hard working and a great guy! We'll never stop coming here.
