The female manager was kind. The place was quiet and empty. Seemed like a red flag though cause as my boyfriend and I left, the back of the restaurant smelt like sewage. The chicken also had us crying of stomach ache in the night. We had just moved and we decided to try that Popeyes. Food was tasty, but might not be a great healthy option generally cause we had serious stomach issues. The people are kind really but it’s Popeyes!!!

On Sunday, June 24th, i went inside the establishment and purchased a 12 piece special with two large sizes. The older gentleman that took my order was very nice. I ask for a couple of sweet heat sauces. A young girl made the order, but when I asked for sweet heat sauce, she instantly got an attitude. I briefly explained i asked for sauce; with that being said. She still expressed an attitude. The biscuits were hard and did not taste fresh.

The Popeyes on Fry Rd. and Morton Rd. is usually busy but the food comes out pretty quickly. I always order the chicken sandwich with red beans and rice. My husband usually gets the three whole wing combo with red beans and rice. The chicken for the sandwich is always freshly fried as well as the chicken wings. I think that is why some people complain about waiting a little bit. I would rather wait than to have them give me food that has been under a heat lamp in order to be served quickly.
