I caught Phat at the Kingsland Welcome Center in Jan 2022. The best BBQ I've had in years. The flavor and texture of the pork was perfect. Juicy, tender with just the right amount of smoky accent. No need for extra sauce. I can't wait for my next trip to GA.

The BBQ is outstanding! I had a sandwich at the Wellnesspalooza last week. James and Christina are amazing people, they gave their time to cook for a Rotary fundraiser dinner last year and it was a huge success! They're a valuable asset to Camden County.

I am working in the area for about a week, I live in Texas. With that being said I know a little bit about some good BBQ. This spot is absolutly on point! The pulled pork was hot and juicy and full of flavor. The bun was toasted just perfectly for the right amount of crunch! The sides were no slouch either, surely well above average. I would rank the pork a 10 out of 10 and the sides (mac&cheese/Potato salad) a 9 out of 10. I will be returning several times over the next week! Highly recommend you stop by there and try it for yourself. The service was also prompt!
