Thai to the "T", P' Vilai is Amazing!!!!. Everything is good, traditional eastern style thai food. Lots of chilis, Som tum is amazing, Crispy chicken wings and sticky rice.

This place is better than Thai room (the only other Thai place on the island) , it's expensive (like most places in the obx) $35 for three dishes, expensive for what it is but the food was solid. The best thing I tried was the pepper ginger, it was very good, strong ginger taste but I like that. The panaeng was average, had a creamy taste which is good, the Thai pho was also very good. They were friendly and they didn't skimp on the vegetables. One thing I think they need to change is to increase the side rice sizes, these things are tiny and anyone that loves Thai would want more rice. I'd definitely give them another shot since I love Thai and they have the market cornered here lol.

Excellent food and nice ambiance. The staff was very friendly. Everything we ate was delicious. Steamed dumplings, papaya salad (we ordered it hot and it was!), vegetable Pad Thai and Shrimp red curry.
