For a hotel restaurant, they have tons of fresh and yummy options. Of course it's overpriced but you are at a resort. There are definitely some more economical options. Excellent drinks specials for $10 that change daily. Really enjoyed our meals here.

Best food in the resorts. Health options like brown rice. Consistently delicious poke and fish tacos. Not sure why Hau Tree at Mauna Kea can’t offer a basic good pool/beach side experience. It doesn’t have to be fancy to be tasty and ok value.

A lovely open dining space with beach views and tasty food that’s fitting for the price point. Some ingredients could be better given that they are definitely available nearby (vegetables were a bit flavorless), but overall definitely a nice experience!

My favorite drink of the trip, loved the strawberry mule. Tacos were great, asian salad was to die for. My dad’s burger was way better than The Burger Joint in Hilo if you’ve ever been there - off the chain! Better than the reviews make you think.

Good option if you're staying at the Hapuna or Mauna Kea hotels. Service is generally quick and the food is usually more hit than miss. We (budget friendly eaters) like the nachos and the tacos. The acai bowl was flavorful but not sure I would order it again.

We had a lovely sunset dinner. The drinks were amazing also. Unfortunately we left in a hurry to catch the hotel shuttle and left a jacket behind. Went back the next day and it was nowhere to be found.
UPDATE: Just got back to our room after being out on the beach, and the jacket we lost was in our room. Somehow it got back to us. So excited. We will find out how it got here and give them a huge Thanks.

Caesar salad was overdressed, added shrimp, and the poke bowl wasn’t really one I’ve ever seen before. It was catering to a certain demographic at the Westin with warm brown rice pile and some poke on top. We came through not as hotel guests, the best part was enjoying the view and the surroundings (5/5). Food meh (3/5).
