For a hotel restaurant, they have tons of fresh and yummy options. Of course it's overpriced but you are at a resort. There are definitely some more economical options. Excellent drinks specials for $10 that change daily. Really enjoyed our meals here.
Caesar salad was overdressed, added shrimp, and the poke bowl wasn’t really one I’ve ever seen before. It was catering to a certain demographic at the Westin with warm brown rice pile and some poke on top. We came through not as hotel guests, the best part was enjoying the view and the surroundings (5/5). Food meh (3/5).
Stopped by for lunch with my group of friends while we were on holiday in Hawaii a couple months ago. Poke was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Good service. Not really worth going way out of your way for but decent if you're nearby (like we were). Pricey, but, what isn't? The portions were good.
We are staying at Hapuna Beach Resort and have eaten lunch here all three days. The servers are attentive and the bar tenders are friendly.
The drinks are a bit pricey but nothing crazy for a resort bar. Mixed drinks are also deliciously strong with great fresh ingredients.
The food exceeds expectations. This is not your average bar food. My wife loved the Poke Bowl (ordered it three times) and the Hawaiin beef plate (Grilled Pipikaula) was exceptional. Fish tacos were just ok but everything else about this place is ON POINT!
We stopped here before we were to go snorkel with the mantas next door at Mauna kea, we were just looking for something convenient and close by, and what a great meal we had. Our server was super nice, the hostess was super funny, restaurant had a nice vibe pool side with an ocean view. I had inquired about the poke nachos, server directed me to the poke bowl. It was delicious, and my favorite poke I had on the island. Highly recommend it if you find yourself at the Westin or at hapuna beach (you can easily walk to naupauka from hapuna beach).
My favorite drink of the trip, loved the strawberry mule. Tacos were great, asian salad was to die for. My dad’s burger was way better than The Burger Joint in Hilo if you’ve ever been there - off the chain! Better than the reviews make you think.
We had a lovely sunset dinner. The drinks were amazing also. Unfortunately we left in a hurry to catch the hotel shuttle and left a jacket behind. Went back the next day and it was nowhere to be found.
UPDATE: Just got back to our room after being out on the beach, and the jacket we lost was in our room. Somehow it got back to us. So excited. We will find out how it got here and give them a huge Thanks.
Be there for 2 for 1 happy hour every evening! Nice outdoor covered patio adjacent to one of the pools and gorgeous sunset views. Nice menu items and tasty food! The cats are nice.

Best food in the resorts. Health options like brown rice. Consistently delicious poke and fish tacos. Not sure why Hau Tree at Mauna Kea can’t offer a basic good pool/beach side experience. It doesn’t have to be fancy to be tasty and ok value.
A lovely open dining space with beach views and tasty food that’s fitting for the price point. Some ingredients could be better given that they are definitely available nearby (vegetables were a bit flavorless), but overall definitely a nice experience!
Good option if you're staying at the Hapuna or Mauna Kea hotels. Service is generally quick and the food is usually more hit than miss. We (budget friendly eaters) like the nachos and the tacos. The acai bowl was flavorful but not sure I would order it again.

Great pool side bar. Easy access to the beach as well. Epic views of the sunset. I really recommend the mai tai of course! Poke nachos and hapunachos are also really good! Jerry at the bar made it a great and memorable visit.
