A five star diner! Great food, great service and great people. I like diners and look for them. If you like diners, this one if for you. The coffee is very good too. Never had an empty water glass.

We love this little family restaurant! We come hear a couple times a year and whenever we are in East Lansing the kids demand a stop for the bear pancakes. The food is always delicious. The staff is friendly and we never wait long for a clean table. They seem to be staffed appropriately and the food arrives quickly. Prices are just right.

My dad wanted to go here for breakfast. We were staying in Lansing due to my mom having surgery. He had been here several times and loved it. I reluctantly said let’s try it, especially when I was a little hesitant after reading sone reviews. I was up from Tennessee for the week. First of all, the SERVICE was amazing. Unfortunately, I don’t remember our waitress’s name. She was very kind, pleasant and was on top of making sure we were taken care of. The service was quick and the place was very clean. The FOOD? Omygosh when she brought it out my mouth watered. I had a western omelette and it came with pancakes and I had the blueberry toppings added. It was all absolutely delicious. The prices were also fair. It’s hard to find decent service anywhere anymore. Also, food quantity has went down so horribly in last couple years. But, we had the best of both worlds. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD!!!! Thank you so much and I definitely will come back when I’m in the area.
