Food was superb. Service could have been handled better. There were several recommendations and while Veal Parm and Chicken parm over delivered the ahi tartare looks great and came up short. Slightly diasappointed the roasted chicken was unavailable and dessert tasted like a day on birthday cake. ALSO, with a table of 12 the standard server spiels don't necessarily work and in this that disrupted our vibe and basis for celebrating at Olives. The restaurant seemed uncharacteristically slow for a Friday night.
Had an amazing 24oz ribeye special here. The wine list has lots to offer as well. The location changed over the past few years from Cesar's to Virgin so don't get confused with some of the old photos still listed where you may see a different surrounding area.
Wow! This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the United States - and this is someone who’s gone to Italy.
The food quality is immaculate. The flavors are to die for. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
This place was part of our foodie tour. The service was great, as was the drinks and food. I will definitely be back. We loved everything here, not one complaint. The beef Carpaccio was amazing !
This was a SIX star experience. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. From every aspect of my experience it was perfect. The staff was amazing. Bernard the sommelier is a genius and the best in town. Excellent recommendations. Amazing wine list with small excellent producers along with the bigger names as well. He will not try to oversell you. He will sell you the best wine in your price range. Just an incredible honor to meet him. Aldo was phenomenal. The perfect combo of professional and personable. He wasn’t at the table too much. And wasn’t at the table too little. It was perfect. And he is just a kind person. Carlos the floor manager was beyond professional and cordial. The food….. AMAZING. The carpaccio is a must. The caviar on the honey toast may be one of the most delicious bites of my life. And then the sweet corn ravioli was perfectly balanced. I can’t sing Olives’ praises enough. This was a special night in a beautiful restaurant. Please visit.
The carpaccio IT’S A MUST it was delicious with the gorgonzola polenta in the middle, we also had the steak it was actually pretty good we wish it came with a side but it’s just the steak with the onions, I ordered the tagliatelle, I felt the parmesan cream could have had more flavor and the past be more al dente but it was good in general, Now the drinks, SO GOOD! Go for the Slingback and apple martini. Oh we also got the arancini, we felt the garlic sauce wasn’t necessary, it killed the truffle flavor.
Having moved over from the Bellagio, Todd English continues to deliver amazing service, atmosphere, and delicious food that I have to write home about! From the daily special mussels to the Bronx bomber pizza and everything in between, the dining experience here is unlike any other and I’m so glad there’s a spot like this off the Vegas Strip that’s easier to access for an incredibly memorable dinner!
Meatball is tender, moist and flavorful, sauce is well balanced between sweet and salty. The most requested beef carpaccio never disappoints … probably the best we have had, instead filet mignon, they used sirloin for a more intense flavor… angnolotti with lemon ricotta and veal filling and veal juice is good too. Just a hint of lemon which adds a little freshness to this originally rich dish. It is obvious that Todd is a genius when it comes to his expertise…
Great service and atmosphere, with a pianist singing pop tunes (Elton John, Dua Lipa.) Michael is passionate about the food and drink he’s serving up. He chose a marvelous Napa wine to accompany my main dish. As others have mentioned, the food was prepared and delivered quickly. All members of the dining room worked well together for a great experience. I got a gracious welcome from the two hosts at the front door, too. My food was all delicious and the portions very generous. The tomato sauce had an acidity that balanced the fattier parts of my eggplant parmigiana. My only suggestion is to watch the salt content in that dish. Along with the olive appetizer, the tapenades and the bread, it was a salty night. I will definitely return here! There were so many other dishes that sounded good.
Great service and beautiful view from the patio or near a widow. Food is, good but a little pricey for what you get. My filet (ordered medium rare) came out rare but they promptly and pleasantly cooked it a bit more. My husband's salmon was delicious and well prepared.
