We really enjoyed our meals! We ordered the trio platter with stuffed mushrooms, spinach dip and wings. I hated the dip but my husband loved it. Turns out it's made with blue cheese! Not for me. He said the wings were ok. But we both loved the stuffed mushrooms! They were the best I've ever had! My husband had the panko shrimp and I had the scallops. He said normally in restaurants the shrimp is butterflied and flattened but these were meaty! I asked for my scallops to be well done and had to send back to the kitchen but came back perfect! The waiter was attentive to our needs! We will definitely go back!

My husband and I wanted to go on a nice Sunday lunch and I had a coupon for Houlihan's so that's where we went. We wanted to order drinks and the waitress told us they're only $5 at the bar, if not they were $9. So we moved to the bar, only to be ignored for 10 minutes and have everyone else who sat down after us waited on. So we left, $10 off or not. Edit: Houlihan's Regional Operations Director replied to my review and was more than happy to rectify the situation. Within a day I received a letter from the restaurants general manager. He apologized, included restaurant vouchers, and told me to ask for him by name the next time I came in to make sure we received excellent service. We went back today and I didn't ask for Mark (the general manager) until after we were finished. This time we had John as a server and he was amazing! Although our first visit did not go as planned, Houlihan's management went above and beyond to amend the problem.

Really nice vibe in here. Our server was great inside once we got away from the patio server. He was aggressively flamboyant and kept making enuindos about tea while I was trying to order. Our food tastes great, everyone had a smile even on a busy night. The place seemed clean and we didnt wait long for a booth. My wife and I would visit often if we lived in Live Oak.
