Creative and delicious food, great service, wonderful atmosphere - all at a reasonable price! We were very impressed by this new restaurant in downtown Los Altos. Great art inside and the outdoor patio made us feel like we were actually in Europe. We ate a Prosciutto, Pear & Gorgonzola appetizer, homemade tortelli, and a peach sorbet for dessert. Highly recommended!

The food is great for reasonable price. I order lamb chop and the dish is around d ~$25 which is cheaper than most place. Just wish we have the sauce on the side so it is easier to poor over and deep the meat in, amazing sauce. My bf's salmon was soft

I love eclectic cuisine & courageous people. I also adore the improvisational nature & diverse cultural roots of jazz music. Combine all three, and I am a happy camper. Baribar Bistro is the closest thing to a cult dining experience that downtown Los Altos will ever have. Unlike places that perpetuate the myth of "Italian," "French," "Chinese" or "Indian" food, this spot recognizes that true culinary traditions are transnational in nature. Regional styles. Fusion foods designed by hybrid identities. A Serbian parent who married a northern Italian spouse & whose children moved to California & fell in love with someone from South America. That's the thing. That's what gets me out of the house to try new things. Food does not have to be Instagrammable to taste great. Serbian food is like that. But if you are keto like me & like good wine and cool jazz, you'll want to check this spot out. While there is still time.
