This restaurant is beautiful and has live music. It lives up to its reputation of being one of the top restaurants in Old Louisville, and my lovely fiancé took me here.
Our server was great. He was very attentive and kind! He cracked some good jokes and told us how he had been working there for years. The atmosphere was so calm and classy. The live music was lovely. I also loved the dark green theme of the restaurant and how it was complimented with white flowers. The bar was also beautiful, with so many different alcohols displayed.
The bread and butter appetizer was delicious, and it came out freshly baked! I got the Seared Scallops over risotto, and it was just melt-in-the-mouth delicious. The risotto was cooked perfectly (I know it’s a tricky dish!) and the scallops were so sweet. My fiancé got their Filet Mignon, and he loved it. For our dessert, we split the caramel brownie with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!
I highly recommend this place for a fancy date night. We both still want to try the Beef Wellington; we will definitely be coming back for more!
Just go. What an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere was beautiful. The piano player was perfect. The service was top notch, and the food was outstanding. Prepared and presented to perfection. The prices might seem high until you taste your meal. At that point, you'll think it's a bargain. A definite must when near Old Louisville.
Ive been twice it was a great experience both times. The drink was a candy apple martini, the bread was a nice portion and taste good. Also the meatballs is a must try and my steak was cook perfectly dripping in sauce served over potatoes and asparagus. That too is a must try .
