I just ate a calzone from pinocchios and its been a few yrs since I've eaten there and tonight it was really good I've seen the bad reviews on here and from my experience I don't think the other people's experiences r a fair representation

Great Pizza!. I decided to give Pinocchio's a try since I hadn't been there in years. My family would drive to Lubbock and eat Pinocchio's years ago when they had multiple locations. I always loved their pizza. I called and found out that they only have one location, so I grabbed my son and we drove to 4th and the Loop for a try. We got there and discovered that they have a buffet. It was just as good as I remembered and my son said it was the best pizza he has had in Lubbock. Each and every different kind was just great. The cinnamon dessert pizza was just crazy delicious. We will be driving across town for more Pinocchio's when we have the pizza urge. Great service and great pizza.

We hadn't eaten Pinocchio's in years, but wanted a quick supper. The buffet was good. They ask your requests on purchasing the buffet. The drinks are included in the price, which is nice. The ambiance is lacking, or a throwback to the late 80s, possibly early 90s. There are lots of places to sit, but many need some duct tape (looking at you, booths) But it seemed pretty clean for the neglect it endures. The pizza was fresh and good. The crust was decent, and they aren't drowning in sauce, which is good. The salad bar is small, but serviceable. The lettuce was not completely dry, but it was fresh. The cinnamon sticks got raves from the kids. It isn't fancy, it isn't pretentious, but they do carry out and delivery....
