Best food ever! Love this place!! The burgers are the best I’ve ever had and the seasoned salt fries with ranch are a must when in town.

Don't be in a hurry if you are headed to the Cav; this experience is meant to be appreciated patiently as your food is cooked to order. Mandatory for first time visitors: seasoned fries with a side of ranch. Pair that with a burger and a cold beer and you will get the full effect. This place has been a favorite of Lynchburg locals for decades, and there's nowhere else like it in town. The Cav is known for license plates on the ceiling, carvings and graffiti on the tables and booths, and its annual pool tournament in February (the proceeds are donated to charity). Yes, men are expected to have sleeves on their shirts and women may find the restroom rather claustrophobic, but the Cavalier is an iconic staple in town with an ambience that can't be matched.
