I took my mom to Carmello’s last night for a late Mother’s Day celebration, and I have to say I was blown away by the meal, service, and experience! First off, the wait staff was so professional and friendly. We started with the scallops and oysters rockefeller. My mom said that she hadn’t seen scallops cooked that perfectly in her life, and I have to agree! They were delicious! The oysters were also fabulous, perfect to start our meal. Then my mom ordered the primavera salad and I got the house salad. We both agree that the house salad was the winner, but the other salad was also delicious! The little goat cheese balls are to die for. I just had to try the rabbit (first time in my life) and that was awesome! Hate to say it, but tastes like upscale chicken! Very tasty. My mom got the winning entree though... the agnolotti stuffed with short rib �� SO GOOD. Then to finish, we shared the creme brûlée. It was perfect. I can’t recommend Carmello’s enough. It’s a 5 star restaurant right in our little small town and it makes us real Italians very proud � Will be looking for an excuse to go back!
