I called today and basically asked for a gyro pizza not only were they cool about my kinda odd request but the pie was perfect from the sauce to the lamb (which was ground not sliced, big plus) to using cornmeal instead of flour when they made the pie it was beyond expectations glad I tried a pizza shop in a gas station once again great pizza guys

Mike is so contagious...Always happy and upbeat. Just love going in and enjoying his gift for gab. He is beyond genuine. The pizza is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Super crisp on the bottom (corn meal) and the red sauce is the cats ass!!! We froze half a large because our eyes were way bigger then our tummies... we just reheated and eat- ed (lol) and the pizza was still fantastic! This pizza is remarkable. A must try!!!! You'll be a fan in no time!

Found this pizzeria while visiting UConn to attend special events. Pizza Mike's is the first pizza place that I know of which serves a lamb pizza. I gave it a try and it was outstanding--seasoned lamb, with feta cheese, tzatziki sauce and other ingredients made it one of the best pizza I have ever enjoyed! The family-owned service was excellent and very friendly. Well worth repeat visits!
