My Mom and I were at the eye clinic down the street and she said to me let's go out to eat, so.."hey google.. restaurants in my area". This place was the first to come up, had good reviews and it was only .5 miles from us. I don't eat at chain restaurants, so to find this hidden gem was a huge surprise. They serve breakfast morning and afternoon. We had their breakfast for lunch. Their coffee was great, food was delish, and our waitress was so on top of our needs. She was fantastic and super friendly. Anyway, if you are ever in the area and looking for a cafe for either breakfast or lunch I highly recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back.
Im glad i talked everyone out of going to Ihop for breakfast, crooked tree cafe hit the spot in ways other breakfast restaurant can not compare to. I had there homemade biscuits and gravy with two over-easy eggs, and bacon. Can i tell you this was truely homemade meal. Sorry mom, the biscuits were so soft an fluffy. The gravy was seasoned perfectly. The eggs are absolutely farm rasied chickens. Could not have been happier with this place. Come in see our server sarah, shes as awesome as the food was. Loved this place.
My wife and I passed this place many times and it was closed - only opened to 3pm ... Until one Saturday we decided to check it out for breakfast ... Wow! It has become our favorite place for breakfast ... Great food and staff! ... Best kept secret ... But we bring everyone we know there and not one has had a bad meal.
We went on a Saturday morning and were immediately seated. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Smokey scramble was fantastic with a banana pancake!! Would never have known such a tasty place existed just driving by. We will def. be back to try something else on the menu.
Best breakfast place in town! Seriously. There usually isn't a wait for brunch (which is a plus) and everything is very good. I recommend trying the roasted banana pancakes, house made chicken sausage, and homemade jams and jellies.
Absolutely amazing and original dishes here. For the money, best breakfast I have eaten in years. Original dishes like Horchatta French Toast, BBQ Pork Ramen, and bbq beef grilled cheese along with housemade jams/jellies/butter/bbq sauce/syrup remind me of the approachable sophistication & price reasonableness of Heirloom BBQ near Cumberland. Service and atmosphere are excellent. Eat here with absolutely no hesitation 👍🏻
Amazing service form the second we walked in! Was extremely clean and felt homey inside. The menu is always changing! Daughter had pancakes and come with homemade brown sugar vanilla syrup(yum!). I had brisket grilled cheese for brunch. It was great, messy to eat but that's expected. The bacon postal side was worth the trip alone! I will be returning to the more.
Great breakfast/lunch/brunch place! My husband and I rarely get the opportunity to have a brunch date so we just decided one Saturday to have one. We are so glad we opted to go here. Oddly enough, we have passed by here so many times but never noticed it. It's a cute restaurant and I love the atmosphere inside. While the inside is a little darker, so much sunlight comes in and it looks nice. The waitress was so pleasant and warm to us. Definitely great Southern hospitality.
Onto the food - I ordered the brisket hash (w/o the BBQ sauce...I love hot sauce with my eggs...don't hate) and my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. I LOVED my dish. The brisket was perfect. My eggs were cooked perfectly as well. The meal as a whole tasted great and I really enjoyed the smokey twist to a traditional hash. My hubby also enjoyed his dish; he barely could finish half of it.
All-in-all, this place is definitely worth it. Reasonably priced. Delicious food. Great service. Fun atmosphere. Can't go wrong!
Yum, yum, yum! Every time I come I get the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich. For my 2 sides I get the Brunswick stew and mac and cheese. It is the best meal ever. I always have an orgasm when I am eating here! Thank You!
I love this place. I had the BBQ pork sandwich with the Crooked Q sauce and potato salad. Absolutely delicious! He had brisket and brunswick stew. He says its the best Brunswick stew he's had in Atlanta. We have decided to use this place to cater our Fourth of July party. I went at a friends recommendation and i am glad I tried it. My fiancé and I love to try different non chain restaurants. Two thumbs up.
