Wait staff very attentive. One ofthe guys (I think it was the head chef) checked on us frequently. We received a lot of food but we only ate half to make room for dessert. Will definitely go back. Calamari was fine. Husband had the soft shell crab po boy. He said it was good. I had the seared scallops with veggies and red potatoes. I had the basil pesto on the side. My food was so good. I had a happy plate :). I liked the basil pesto but not with the scallops. We shared the desert. I don't remember the name but it had popcorn, caramel, chocolate ganache, and salted peanuts.
Best Seafood (and other stuff) In the Area!. Pier 213 is easily my favorite seafood restaurant in the area and one of my favorite restaurants, period. My wife first found the place about a year ago when she read an article about how Pier 213's owners also own a seafood distribution business so we figured they'd have to know a thing or two about fish.
We've never been real happy with the seafood options near our home in Kennesaw and were eager to give a new one a try. We're so glad we did.
The seafood and land-based options we've tried have all been excellent. I usually order the Seafood Pasta, but tonight I got the waitress-recommended Lamb Shank (something I'd never think to do at other seafood places). It was amazing, but we've never had a bad dish at Pier 213, so while I enjoyed it immensely, I wasn't surprised by how good it was.
The prices are reasonable and both the regular menu items and specials are always wonderful. I especially love the Salmon (prepared lots of delicious ways) and the jambalaya, while my wife and son love the fried shrimp and chicken strips respectively. Another great thing about Pier 213 is that there's almost never a wait, probably because they haven't been discovered yet. Or maybe because the place doesn't look like a great restaurant from the outside\.
If the parking lot looks crowded it might just be because people park there sometimes to go to the just-like-every-other-Mexican-place next door. Their loss!
If you want great, authentic southern seafood and other delicious selections without high prices or the hassle of driving downtown, you owe it to yourself to give Pier 213 a try!
Best Seafood I ever had. What a treat to have this place in my home town of Marietta, Ga. All ingredients are fresh. Service was outstanding. Pier213 blows away all seafood places I've ever eaten at, including Florida!! Do yourself a favor and visit this place. Prices are very reasonable. Decor...eh?? Who cares about that.
Superb Seafood and Service. My wife and I had dinner there tonight upon recommendations from friends. Excellent seafood and exceptional service. I recommend to anyone in the Marietta/Atlanta area. Crab cakes are the best in Town and the Blackened Amberjack as well as the Shrimp and Tilapia combo were delicious!
Not sure why people don't like this place- I am picky about crab cakes and they were AWESOME! Also the owner? Or maybe manager was soooo nice as was our server. Che was great! Oh, dirty rice was also super yummy!
Great place for seafood. Went by yesterday and had a great meal.....started out with the crab cakes cooked perfectly and not full of all the fillers you find elsewhere. second course was the fried oysters a nice amount for the price and cooked perfectly. Finished with the sticky toffee pudding it was out of this world....
will return and would recommend this place to anyone

Fabulous Seafood in Marietta!. Newly opened Pier 213 Seafood is already making waves in the Marietta area with its fresh seafood offerings. On a recent visit, we ordered the fried crab claws, mussels, baked oysters, combo platter (fried catfish, shrimp and oysters), sticky toffee pudding and key lime pie. Starting with the fried crab claws-these were just okay, but did not warrant its price. Next were the mussles that came with a side of french bread-the mussels were steamed perfectly and the white wine sauce was incredibly flavorful. The baked oysters were enormous-the buttery garlic and cheese combo was wonderful too! From the fried combo platter, my favorite was the fried oysters-crispy batter, chewy oysters and delicious all around. This came with two sides & I chose the hushpuppies and dirty rice. Both sides were SO good! The hushpuppies were big and fresh and the dirty rice was some of the best I've had! On to the desserts-I loved them BOTH, but the sticky toffee pudding stood out the most! Dense, rich cake and gooey caramel sauce followed by creamy vanilla ice cream (a REAL steal for $5!). Wonderful experience, lovely/passionate owners & a fun, casual space without breaking the bank. Can't wait to be back and try their crawfish boil!
The food is always wonderful! I am personally trying to eat my eat through the menu. In four weeks haven't found anything I wouldn't eat again and again. I originally had a birthday dinner with a friend and we were very pleased with the fabulous deserts too. (I'm sure there are no calories when consumed for special occasions).
Please note as well, I only eat healthy and I am a very choosy eater. This is the absolute ONLY place to eat sea food in or around Marietta.
And let me just go ahead and tell you, the owners and staff are just as amazing as the food. Friendly pales in comparison to how you will be treated. It is truly like one big happy family and I am hoping to be adopted!
