I normally do not partake in the buffet option of Indian/Nepali/Pakistan food because I usually have a hard time finding anything mild enough. So I prefer to order ala carte; any meal item cooked in any creamy base helps dull the heat for me. I have eaten here for buffet once, not my thing. But they were nice enough to give me half-off coz I came in after buffet hours were over. I recently ate there for dinner with my boyfriend. The food was amazing! I loved the idea of different versions of korma like the cashew or the coconut, which is what we ordered. The naan was great too. I ordered the mint lassi because I have NEVER seen one. The flavor was beyond amazing. The reason why I am giving the restaurant 4 and not 5 stars is because I think it's better to include the plain basmati rice price with the meals(even if price increased that's fine), that way people know they don't have to order separately. And anyone ordering a specialty rice(s) will already know it costs extra. My boyfriend and I had a pricier-than-expected tab because we thought the plain rice automatically came with it (unless it was stated on the menu but we missed it?) and thought the naan would be the only extra expense. I think if that menu glitch can be fixed it can reduce the headache for future customers down the road. The quality of food @ this new joint is amazing; people will find the place soon enough.
Nice place. Buffet is good and cheap. Tanduri Chicken, chicken curry and Biriani are special.
Have lived in East Cobb my entire life and I'm so happy to finally have an Indian restaurant around the corner, better yet as wonderful as Shahi Naan! I was really impressed with how delicious the food tasted. Service was great, as well. We came late one evening when it was slow, and the owner told us to please be patient so he can bring us a fresh dish made to perfection for us. We got the Chicken Korma, Chicken 65, Samosas, Naan. All highly recommended. Only suggestion: put descriptions on the menu for each dish, because we had to ask what was in everything. Other than that, I will be back!!
Wow. This was some of the best Indian/Pakistani food I have had. My husband and I ordered more food than normal, thinking we would take some home. It was so good, we polished everything off. The waiter explained that the owner has restaurants in London as well. It makes sense because the bar is set very high there for this type of food.
Absolutely great food. Very vastly and original. If you like the flavor of the Pakistan and Indian cuisine this is the place to try. The restaurant and staff are very clean and organized and very friendly. It has only been open a couple weeks but owner is very friendly and outgoing. Prices are great for the amount of food you get.. I highly recommend it you want 100% pure meat (halal) and fresh veggies this is your spot.
