My favorite place, my toughest decision is choosing mac or newberg:)
Nice veggies, quality meat. One of my favorite places in Mac. And the peanut butter brownies are to die for.
One of the best sandwich places I've eaten at: a must stop if you're in the area! They don't make a bad sandwich, and everything on the menu is incredible. The sandwiches themselves are huge, especially for the price. Enough variety to feed anyone that comes through, though the classics (such as their BLT) taste amazing too. The garlic fries rival the sandwiches themselves.
I live in Vancouver but I have to work nearby occasionally. Sandwich Express is always a planned stop on my visits here, and this place never gets old. Their food is always fresh, their bread is incredible, and their prices are more than fair. This place gets busy but they are always quick to get your food out whether you’re in the drive thru or inside. Highly recommend over any other sandwich place!
I've been holding back on my review, because I really do like this place, and everything I've had is really tasty.
However, they really need to be more consistent with their salads. Sometimes they are super, with a nice amount of everything, but sometimes not so good.
Today, though, was the worst salad ever. Hardly any chicken, croutons, or cheese.
I have said something about this before when I've ordered, but perhaps this will get more attention from the management.
I was totally surprised and delighted when I opened the wrapper and discovered how amazing it looked and smelled.
I ordered 'The Heater" breakfast sandwich on Cheddar Jalapeno bread and it was awesome.
It is a nice size portion, with great flavor. Not sure how I have missed going to this place.
Its on my radar now, and will be a go to spot for sandwiches. The price, quantity, and quality were good.

Very nice workers, atmosphere, look, and food. A train goes along at the top of the restaurant, and it’s very well maintained. Highly recommend this to the other sandwich express.
My absolute favorite sandwich shop ANYWHERE. I live in Spokane Valley Washington, but any time I make it to McMinnville I have to hit up sandwich express.....I only wish the train had been running while we were there.....next time 😁
I no longer live in Mac, but when I visit my family I always make sure to swing by around 11:30 am and get a Sammy and a bowl of soup. It's incredibly comforting and I wish it existed where I live now!
