First time at the McMinnville Applebee's. Nice place, waitress was lovely. Food was good.
It took maybe 15 minutes to get seated even with a packed building on a Saturday night. Food was very good and the service was great our waitress (Cant remember her name) was very friendly and kept us topped off on drinks and table uncluttered the whole time we were there. The manager, Linda I think it was, was very friendly and checked on us a few times while we were eating. I'm very impressed with the quality of this establishment being that it exist in McMinnville.
My server, Mandy, was fantastic. Not only did she give great customer service, she was able to quickly answer and guide some of the other servers when they had questions. I was near the register so I heard a couple of them ask questions and she was warm and friendly in helping them as well. I had the riblets and while the salad, the fries, etc were good, I don't see the point of the riblets. IMO, they are more work than regular ribs.
I'm giving this 4 stars for 2 reason, 1. Usually the food I get there is on par & 2. The lady who was manager on Monday May 16th was amazing!
We ordered from Applebee's 5/16 as a treat, we don't get to treat ourselves often, and was very disappointed in our order. Burgers raw, onion rings over cooked, child's burger not even child sized, however with that being said I do understand everyone has an "off" night so I called the restaurant & spoke to the manager, SHE WAS AWESOME! Very apologetic & offered us a replacement meal for free. Service like that is a big reason why I will continue to go to Applebee's. She really stepped up & took care of the problem.
