I honestly don't know where to start!
This is the first time since I started doing reviews that I've written one for a place that I'm very familiar with, rather than somewhere at least relatively new.
I've come here for years. It's basically home away from home for my family. Every time we come there, we're welcomed with open arms. I've shown up after work when there's barely enough time to order, when I could barely afford to eat, when everywhere was packed and it was super busy. I never feel like a burden or an inconvenience. This place truly makes me feel right at home.
I've sat in hibachi seating with friends and family and loved the show.
The cooks are skillful and often quite cheerful, as well. I tend to sit "inside", though, away from the crowds and the fire, where there is usually space.
The sushi chefs tend not to make themselves known, like silent artists, but they show themselves where it counts! (The dinner plate?)
I've always viewed the waitresses there well, but I'm probably most familiar with Wendy, who's always nice and helpful.
The interior is minimal, but very stylish, and really gives you the impression of traditional Japanese culture.
I've had various meals there over the years, but my list of favorite items would be: matcha ice cream tempura, clear soup, the great kiss roll, shrimp tempura roll, and salmon hibachi.
Let me just say what an amazing experience we came here to celebrate my daughters 7th birthday. The place is very nice and organized and very clean they do an amazing job getting guests in and out. We first ordered our drinks and then after ordering our drinks they went ahead and gave us the house salad and they also gave us soup as well. The chef was absolutely incredible and really put on a good show. They were really accommodating and understanding with my daughter's allergies to scallops, shrimp and soy. They were also nice enough to go ahead and sing happy birthday to her as well thank you Fujiyama for the wonderful experience!!!
This place is great. We went with our family of 7. The food was plentiful and rich in flavor. The chef put on a good show. My 4yo loved flames! 🤣 We will be back!
What a fun place! My sister and Dad have birthdays this week so we took them to Fujiyama for lunch. The performance was great and the food was delicious. I had the scallops! The waitress recommended lunch portions and they were huge. We all took food home. Highly recommend!
The food is not the high rated...but the quick 1 hour experience is fun. Rice is the best...then the sweet carrots. The proteins get over cooked everytime I go. Oh well. It's fun though. Plenty of food.
It’s always a fun experience when we come here. We celebrated my mom’s 89 the birthday, and the easily accommodated or fairly large group. The food is consistently great, and the time we spend here is fun.
First time at Fujiyama.
Our waitress Jeri was fantastic.
The food was phenomenal, definitely got our monies worth and it satisfied my husbands desire for sushi.
10/10 would visit again during our next visit to Florida.
The food was great. Loved the fried rice, chicken and shrimp. Steak was pretty good. Loved the sauce on the carrots and veggies. Our chef was fun and entertaining and did a great job. Our waitress was nice.
Been here previously..was served at table not hibachi as requested. Unfortunately this dining experience did not match my previous visit. I ordered the hibachi chicken. The food was barely warm and the flavor bland to the point of the chicken being dry. The rice was even more disappointing. It tasted as though it had been sitting for hours on heat. The waitress was great. The white Russian drink was good. Not sure why the food served in the bar can't be as good as food served at the hibachi. Very disappointing.
We all had a awesome time. Our server Andy was fantastic and the food was delicious 😋 The side of carrots had so much flavor makes for a great vegetarian dish or snack. I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves. Great place for family, friends or date night.
