We just discovered this place a few weeks ago. We have a feeling it's going to be our date night spot every other week, and we intend to be regulars for comedy on Wednesday nights. Every time I've called I get all the answers to my questions in such a noticeably upbeat manner, and I like that, with all the grumps we deal with on a daily basis, it's nice to see people can still maintain positive attitudes. You know how you can tell the employees work for good people because it reflects in their performance. This is definitely our scene. I've only ever experienced a mature crowd, I'm 31 and this isn't somewhere you have to worry about obnoxious drunken college kids. Cali kind of vibe. Also, we brought our friend Juan with us this time, he loves it as much as we do, I've never ordered anything off the menu that wasn't delicious. Seriously, come check this place out. ���
My only suggestion would be to please add a weekend comedy night every week! Friday or Saturday, so families with alternating timesharing weekends don't have to break the bank on a sitter, pretty please?? �
Very cool coffee shop. If you find yourself in the Melbourne, FL area and you don’t want to give Starbucks your coffee business, you owe it to yourself to checkout this amazingly cool coffee shop. They have food, beer, and wine. They also have a great Open Mic Night on Monday nights.
It's now called Open Mike's. We love this place! Great food, great atmosphere. We've been to the Swing Dance nights which were tons of fun, and our kids take music lessons here, so we come in the afternoon to have coffee, smoothies, and some food.
FDM definitely changed since the last time I was in there and their on hand selection is not as full as I remembered it. But with that being said, the service was great and they had exactly what I needed. The atmosphere seemed to be mellow and laid back. I heard many rumors of their changed and "Not being a music store anymore", and these are false. They still are a music store, but with an environment set for budding musicians alike. As the times change sometimes business must change to survive and I believe they have done just that.

This is no longer a music store for purchasing equipment. I went a few months ago and couldn’t even get guitar strings. But! The coffee and wine bar is really fun and live comedy and music make it a great spot for dates, and just to hang out. Pretty good food too.

This has turned into a local gem. It's evolving all the time. The light menu is well done. Good beer and wine selection, along with great coffee drinks. The music is,always great. A very nice place to meet friends.
First of all, best Melbourne hangout spot on weeknights. Monday is funk jam night. Friendly staff and helpful. My girlfriend bought a 5-string bass for a great price, but had some solder joints broken. Nathan repaired the wiring at no charge to us and he has perfect hair. Highly recommend this store for good atmosphere, good food, and many other reasons...
Still has the best music teachers in town or anywhere! Absolutely world class and not a better place to wait while your friend or loved one is having their lesson. Enjoy a hot or cold coffee drink, beer or wine along with excellent food.
I like to call this place "The Improv with deck chairs." By day, it's a music store. By night, it's the hippest comedic hangout in Melbourne. As a comedian, I see a lot of different rooms with a lot of different vibes. This one has a very enthusiastic crowd, and the shows are always better for it. This is a terrific place to relax with your friends and really have a good time.
Florida discount specializes in Brevard finest local musicians jamming out from Rock to blues and funk. Also Wednesday night is comedy night definitely a fun place to go chill out drink some coffee tea or a beer and smoking is available outside.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to go out and have a good time and watch something that is disappearing awesome live entertainment.

I work remotely out of this place because it's so cool. Special coffee blends, cronuts, paninis, rice bowls, cheese boards, wine and beer - are you not entertained...ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!! Because if you're not...
