My son loves Sonic chicken:) The employees are quick to serve & cheerful. We love the old-fashioned drive in spots where you can sit & eat or driveaway. Prices are reasonable.

My family has loved sonic for almost 20 years. We used to drive 45 min just to eat at the one in Boynton beach when we lived in ft Lauderdale. First off before I forget they have the best ice out of anywhere except for hospitals. They have the perfect little pellet ice... And you can actually just buy the ice which we do all the time. The popcorn chicken is really good and mozzarella sticks but I especially like their fried cheddar pepper poppers with ranch. It's a great drive thru but it's better to make time and park and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. It's a very up beat place. I also like the variety of slushy drinks..I like grape, my son likes cherry limeade and my husband likes strawberry lemonade. Sonic is my 1st runner up in shakes, behind Steak-n-Shake but It's closer to me, so,I go to Sonic more often. Oh yeah they have much a better hot fudge Sunday than McDonald's .. not only is it bigger and the ice cream's better but unlike McDonald's the ice cream machine always works at Sonic.
All these years iver never been to a Sonic. I went last night and took a few photos. Sitting in my car made me want to clean it the next day. I digress. It's fast food with a gimmick. I had the foot long dog and it was saltier than a regular dog. It wasn't bad though. I expected more from the shake though. I had the Reese cup shake and thought I couldn't go wrong with a Reese cup anything. It was not very impressive. The good thing is that for something mediocre, it was like 8 and change so you get what you pay for. For a "drive in" theme, I recommend to out a small TV on the ordering screen with a clip of a movie to simulate going to a drive in. Definitely go here instead of a McDonald's or something similar.

Super good bread for the burger. Really tasty. I had a Sonic bacon cheeseburger, and it was power. Would recommend. You pull into a parking spot and order there, then they bring the food to your car. It's charming as heck! Feels super Americana.

What can I say, it's fast food, but it was good and the service was good. They bring the food out to your car which is where you order it as well. I had to give them a downgrade for atmosphere, because the spot I pulled in did not have a working computer screen. I was however, able to order using the microphone and speaker and order off of a static menu.
Don't come here very often but the service is always good. Friendly staff always smiling
Need to have more items available. No ice cream or slushes. It is very hot in Florida and they should have over stock on that stuff.
Rolling out on skates to your car is a cool feature. The people i normally speak to are very friendly. One time I asked for no pickles and got pickles.. but I still think the food is a good value. Many options for milkshakes and slushes. Many sandwich options too, even chicken tenders and boneless wings, coney dogs and corn dogs, which I consider not so common.
