Belmont Grill

The server was ok, probably just new to the job. I had a Prime Rib sandwich w/2 loaded potato skins. Potatoes skins were very delicious. The sandwich was fatty and tough in some bites. I wouldn't order this sandwich again. Also ordered an order of hot wings to go. A little pricey all was $77 with a tip.

Yumm! Bacon wrapped chicken livers, French dip, onion rings, everything was delicious. Neighborhood bar vibe. 70's rock playing and our server was super sweet. Can't wait to go back. We also got ribs to go!! We didn't have reservations at Houston's at 4:30 on Tuesday.. Best thing that could have happened..

We loooooove this place. It is an institution in Memphis and has some of the best food. We started with onion rings and fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce that was killer good. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with potato skins for a side. Friends got the hamburger and roast beef au juice. The atmosphere is cool with the lights down low. The bar is a classic neighborhood fixture. Rachel did a great job serving us as well. We can’t wait to go back.

Great food and service. The atmosphere is kinda retro and homey. The fried cheese sticks were fantastic. I got the shrimp po' boy with onion rings and they were cooked to perfection. The portions are large so get ready to take home some leftovers. The fries are steak cut and delicious. Not the cheapest restaurant, but not terribly expensive. Definitely worth it. A great place to go on a date.

This was my first visit to the Belmont grill, and I have to say I was not disappointed. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad, it was quite delicious. The shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, the lettuce was cool and chrisp with all the requisite accompanying vegetables. My friend had their signature Belmont Burger which he said was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and new the menu well, she was attentive without being overbearing. All in all was a delightful experience and I would suggest if you haven't you should try it out.
