Tried the Spicy Blackened Chicken Sandwich. It was delicious. The chicken was very moist and tender and was definitely spicy. I also really like their Ghost Pepper Wings. I ordered the 12 for 9.99$ and think it’s a great deal. The wings are maybe a little more spicy than their spicy chicken and meaty for a Popeye’s wing. Most wings today are over 1.00$ a piece. Give’em a try if you get a chance.

I truly LOVE THAT CHICKEN ❣️ I think I had over 300 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches since they 1st came out. Man the shortage across the country was insane, Chicago had no shortage, but LA (Cali) and other place you couldn’t get one for weeks and when they were in they were gone with the wind. Which made my travels a little disappointing knowing that I can’t get my fix everywhere. YA think I’ll ever forget that?!? 😂 I think it was around 2015-2017 . I went from eating 1-2 a day to at least 1 once a week. I blame the City life as well the fact that I don’t like cooking EVER!! I’m in Florida and friends go like ‘Let’s go out to eat! Easy peasy as we were driving to the restaurant…I could help myself pull over get in line without telling them anything lol A girl gotta have her fix, nothing to see here! Yep I just pigged out on the way to the restaurant. No worries I can alway pig out more. The fun part of this ordeal is that I never share my spicy chicken with anyone, nope not even a small taste also because none of my friends wanted me to order anything from Popeyes. They just wanted that fancy restaurant, perhaps there’s always next time.

Edited to raise the review stars. Called again the next day, asked for the manager but wasn't given to them, person was suspicious and reluctant to help but finally insisted I return not just with the receipt but with the food(!) that day in order for them to make it right. I asked if it could be the following day, but they refused. So I gathered the leftovers, but of course they didn't want the food back. The actual manager took my receipt, gave me a full, correct, and extremely fresh order with no further issue. It was delicious. Thanks for making it right, folks. ***original review*** I ordered 4 thighs and 2 large red beans with no rice (I can't eat rice, sadly). That cost $24.04. When I got the order, I looked in the bag, and the sides were filled to the top with rice. They refused to fix it "because the sides were already put up for closing". So I left with my wrong order. I brought my meal home, and opened the box, and it was some scrawny neck-looking things with a biscuit and small side. NOT my expensive thighs. Maybe some kind of tender $5 box? Idk. Called them right away, just before closing, they didn't answer. I would like Popeye's to replace my entire meal. I will watch for a reply.
