Went here for the first time. It was my birthday and wanted something really good. We started with an appetizer - seafood parm. Shrimp, crawfish and crabmeat baked in a buttery wine sauce topped with parm cheese. It was fabulous. The salad wasn't nothing great. Appeared to be typical bag lettuce mix - but OMG - their house dressing is the bomb. I just wish they would have thrown in a few pieces of tomato. For dinner we both ordered specials. Mine was sauteed veal topped with crabmeat ravioli's. The veal was so tender and tasty and the ravioli's could have easily been a meal by themselves and were dynamite. Hubby had the softshell crab and crabcake and it was equally great. Service is as great as food.

The best kept secret in Metairie. The food is spectacular from the appetizers to the entrees. Why go into New Orleans when you can have an epicurean delight in your own neighborhood.

Regina and i enjoyed the best overall meal and service at Cypress. Scallops and Risotto were some of the best that I have ever had. The richness and creaminess of the Risotto were unbelievable!
