I enjoyed my burger and fries. The cream soda was neat, I hadn’t had cream soda in 10-15 years. The ice cream was quite tasty. But Renee, my server was awesome. She cared about the food and my dining experience. If you get a chance in Middletown, give them a try. Totally worth it!!
I'm sitting here now enjoying my burger and crinkle fries,which were brought to me in 5 minutes! I've been coming here my entire life and this year has been the best so far..and the gentleman taking orders and bringing out the food is awesome. .I know he's been here for years and he's always professional and friendly..win all around!
So, I was disappointed that they don’t have bbq sauce then they said “we will get it for you!” Food was quick, excellent flavor, and these folks are friendly & helpful! Look forward to eating here more!

Stopped in yesterday in somewhat of a hurry and before I had gotten my window down the very nice cheerful waitress was asking how she could help me. My food was absolutely delicious and quick that I ordered another double cheeseburger for later that night. Within 20 minutes I had eaten, ordered and received another burger for take home and on my way! I've heard some not so good reviews about being understaffed but I can assure you that last night this was not the case. I'll be a new customer for life!
Great friendly car hop service. Good bugers, chili dogs, beer batter onion rings and frosty cold root beers all around. Celebrating 90 years says a lot about community. Worth a stop to check it out.

LarderRoom...The Jug! Celebrating 90 Years! Look, if you been serving burgers, ice cream & root beer for 90 years you got my attention. Just stay in your car and a hop will be with you promptly. Classic paper menus outline your options of smash burgers, chili dogs, root beers and floats! I even tried a (fried) chicken sandwich! Order it all! Everything is hot and greasy, but it a GOOD WAY. Exactly the way you want your burger. Remember to tip. Your servers will appreciate you for it!
The homie and I had a burger craving. We stumbled upon this mom and pop burger joint in Middletown,Ohio. It’s a classic take out restaurant where you order from your car. We had the double bacon cheese burger, Middie burger, the jug boy, loaded crinkle cut fries, waffle fries, cheese hot dog, and red cream soda. All tasted good and were very cheap. I would say the burgers are very similar to those of McDonalds but fresher and minus the Big Mac sauce. I’m impressed they have been operating since 1932. Love supporting local home grown businesses like this and will definitely be coming back in the future.
I’m constantly searching for a burger that can rival the double decker I grew up with from our local Dairy Bar. Welp, I found it.

Darn good food with fast service and nice people.
Great food with great service. I love the pull-up diner vibe. I had the 4 patty burgers, and it was cooked really well. I also had their waffle fries that I am gonna say punch way above their weight class in comparison to chick fil A. Definitely will come back to experience it all again!!!
