Love this place! The beer tastes great and the food is delicious! A great place to hang out with great atmosphere! The best of both worlds! A great craft brewery with an awesome restaurant!
Stopped in tonight for fish and chips with some lobster mac and cheese. I had the Blue Raider Kolsh to drink and my wife had the Hard Apple Pie cocktail. It was all worth the drive and we will come back again.
Great food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. A must place to eat. I love what they have done to a building in need in Middletown.
We love it here, beer is great, the spirits are better every trip, and the food has always been fantastic. Full disclosure we k is and love the owners and several of the employees, but that just makes it all the more rewarding to give this review. Went in for the hot wing contest yesterday, the flavor was awesome, wings were good and hot, would def order those again should they find their way to the regular menu (hint hint).
Stopped in at the Tattered Flag in Gettysburg. Erica was a fabulous bartender. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The beer was good. Would recommend the Super Ghost if you want something with a little zing. Would definately go back in in town.
Cannot think of anything negative to say about this six-year-old restaurant, brewery and distillery. Great variety of home-brewed beers, all very tasty; fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. Wholeheartedly recommend and cannot wait to come back and try more of the food and beer offerings. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
We’ll be back! First time visit. Food was delicious, fresh, and prepared with care. The prices seemed high at first, but the portions were large and we brought half of our entrees home. We had chicken salad, hand cut fries, Cuban sandwich, Korean cauliflower, and lemon cake. The beer was good. Tables games. Interesting decor. Good service. All around good experience.
First time here. In town traveling for work. Did a four beer flight and the dinner special (fajita bowl). Food was fantastic. Had nice spice flavor throughout the entire bowl. Flight was three IPAs and a Lager. Very happy with all four. I would definitely recommend this place to locals and travelers. Oh did I mention they also distill? Gin, vodka, and whiskey which they age local. The bourbon was smooth and buttery with a nice hint of oak on the nose. They also offer it with peach, a sweet yummy alternative to straight. This was a great place to stop before I head to the airport and head to another place. God Bless the Tattered Flag and this Veteran owned business.
Atmosphere was good, ordering was easy. Food was amazing and beer was tasty. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to meet friends for great food and drinks.
We had a great time here! You gotta figure it out...you stand in line for drinks and food if you don't sit at the bar. They give you one of those buzzy things that goes off when your food is ready and they make or pour your drink right there. I was impressed to hear that Tattered Flag was only 6 years old, and already has 4 locations! We had their Velvet Hippo IPA and the Inverted Mango...both amazing. For eating, we had the fish and chips (all made in house) and korean cauliflower bites...so so good! We sat at the bar and watched people come pick up their food...nothing I saw looked icky.
