I used to go to chipotle all the time and checked this place out when it opened to see how it compared. Slowly I found myself craving Chipotle less and less and craving Fuego's instead. More variety and more flavor. Literally probably my favorite place to eat now.

Awesome service, very friendly staff members ready to accommodate. The food is spectacular, their chorizo is to die for, and their fresh fruit juice is par none!

Incredible food- way better than Chipotle! You can tell everything is made fresh. Staff and owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming; I felt like family from the minute I walked in the door! Try the steak nachos- they're to die for!

What do you get when you cross a Chipotle-style, Mexican Restaurant and great customer service? Fuego, which by way is a Spanish word that translates into passion. That is exactly what they have passion not only for food but for their customers. When you get sincerely asked "How was everything?" and they are hanging on your every word for a response you know you are in the right place.

Originally went to the location in Mt repose and the line was super long and there looked to be only 2 employees working at the time. We waited for about 10 minutes and the line hadn't even moved, so we decided to see if this location was any better. There was a line, but it went fast. We waited maybe 5 minutes. There were 6 employees that I could see. I feel sorry for the employees at the other location. I recommend taco Tuesdays!

My coworker and I are one week 3 of going here for Taco Tuesday - any place that will offer a discount because of a day of the week is my kind of place. I’ve had both soft and hard shell tacos and I’m working my way through the protein options, but if it’s your first time try the chicken or steak. Then walk the line and dress it with whatever you please. Some things like queso or guacamole are extra, but that’s kinda standard. Finish off your order with a Mexican Coke or one of their refreshing juices. Don’t forget to sign up for their loyalty program and earn free food!

I was really excited to try Fuego because who isn't excited about a new Mexican restaurant? I had read that it was similar to a chain restaurant where guac is extra (haha) and I wanted to see if it was a better option. I was not disappointed! The menu has a lot of variety when it comes to meats that can be used for your meal, salsas, and other toppings. They also offer classics like elotes, churros, and agua frescas. I decided to try something similar to what I get at the other place so I could properly compare. I ordered a bol with barbacoa, rice, black beans, corn, green salsa, guac, and cheese. I was more pleased with it than I have been at the chain burrito place. Their barbacoa wasn't super fatty, which I've encountered more than a few times elsewhere, it was nicely seasoned and tender. I loved their guac because there weren't giant chunks of raw onion in it. Some are ok, but too many is kind of a turn off for me! Haha I overheard someone ordering shrimp for their meal and the server explained that it takes about 5 minutes to prepare the shrimp. I was impressed! Having shrimp prepared fresh for your meal is way better than having it scooped out of a container that's been hanging out. I'm usually not a big seafood person, but I think I'll be trying the shrimp next time because of this! My mom got the chicken tacos and really enjoyed them! They offer agua frescas, which I love, but the flavors were melón (cantaloupe) and watermelon. I'm more of a limón girl, so I passed this time. My mom got the watermelon agua fresca and couldn't stop talking about it! Everything was super fresh and the restaurant was clean. I'm looking forward to visiting again! I'll definitely be trying the shrimp and maybe even an elote! My only suggestion would be to offer corn tortillas for the tacos!
