Excellent coffee and the breakfast is the absolute best. The customer service is professional and friendly. A family feel to the atmosphere. It doesn't get any better. You must experience this incredible place and enjoy.

I cannot come home without visiting Coffee Makes You Black. I love the atmosphere, and the food is amazing!! It has the best chicken and waffles I've ever had, and I've been to very many soul food places in the US; east, south, and the west!

Me and my husband had the chicken and waffles with a side of cheese eggs omg it was so delicious..you don't find too many sit down restaurants towards the inner city of milwaukee that has great food, good music, great service and a diverse clientele we will be coming back very soon!
