Go here once a month, solid and consistentService as complained by other reviewers is adequate for this placeQuick to take order, food always comes out fast. Slow generally to pick up plates and you have to pay at cashier, not a big deal. Portions are fine and very inexpensive considering what you get for your money
The best Mexican Food Ever. This hidden gem is definitely worth trying. Their carne asada is to die for. I recommend the steak tacos which come on 2 steamy corn tortillas with plenty of meat, onion, and cilantro. They are small so order a combination plate or a few a la carte. When you sit down the waitress comes over with warm tortilla chips, a dish of spicy salsa, and 2 bottles of sauce. The red is a bit mole heavy for my taste and the green is savory- my favorite. No alcohol is served but they have cans of soda, jarritos, coca-cola in the bottle, and the best horchata in the city. The gorditas are very tasty and big. They know what they are doing with chorizo also. I recommend the juevos y chorizo or the chorizo tostada. If you're really hungry order their jalisco burrito- it's the size of a volkswagen. Whatever you order, you and a guest will walk out of there for right around $20-including drinks. I take everyone here and they just rave about it. I've even taken one of my world traveler friend's and he said "I didn't even have mexican food this good IN Mexico!" So, do yourself a favor and eat at this underrated culinary hole-in-the-wall.
Fire burritos 10/10 hell yeah it was dead and we got our burritos in 2 minutes fast as hell man these guys rock food had so much flavor, kickass 💯
Hidden gem! Delicious carne asada burrito and tacos. Small quaint restaurant that is usually very busy. Bistec a la mexicana was delicious and the Burrito Jalisco was super tasty. Great variety of salsas ranging from medium hot to super spicy. There's something for everyone! Parking can be a bit of a challenge since this is a busy street.
Delicious, Authentic, will make this a regular stop. This restaurant is a hidden treasure, A rating on cleanliness, superb service. A must stop for Foodies!
Carne en su jugo. The best mexican soup I've had. Steak with beans. Fresh avocado, cilantro, radish, raw onions and chili peppers. My favorite.
I've been to plenty of other states and had a lot of tacos. I've also been in kitchens for a long time, so I'm familiar with the ingredients. I was so happy to move back to Milwaukee just so I can get these tacos more often. And the giant cup of horchata? Yum.
