Overall a pretty good spot for sushi. The atmosphere was fun, service was good, and the location is pretty easy to access
Prices were not terrible, though not cheap. The tempura was tasty, but the shishito peppers were fairly tasteless unless you got a ton of the sauce in each bite. Our rolls were pretty good, but none of the dishes really impressed. I found the salmon skin roll to be my favorite, actually
There was also a weird green spot on one piece of salmon, so I just didn’t eat that bit, not sure if it was wasabi remnants or something else, just off putting for sure
I’d still prefer Momo and AMA Sushi to this place, but we did have an enjoyable meal overall
I enjoy coming to this place because of the variety of the menu. My friend and I went all out and ordered Crab Rangoon, two rolls and a bowl of ramen. The Crab Rangoon was good but nothing special. The special roll (description in picture) is one of the most delicious bites I have ever eaten. The flavors are so fresh and delicious together. The sweet heart roll was also very yummy. The Ramen was good. It is a nice spot and I am always surprised how slow they are. The parking ramp is pay to park but gives a nice option to park right at the restaurant in a city where parking to eat can be a nightmare. Overall I highly recommend and suggest you try the special if they have it when you are there!
Such a lovely restaurant! We went at around 4pm and sat outside. Pleasant atmosphere. Sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious. I love the ama ebi! Our server was friendly and attentive.
I popped by to bide some time before a date. Had a few drinks. The staff could not be more courteous. If you have an opportunity, I recommend stopping by for a cocktail or a flight of sake. I cannot speaker for the food at present as I have not partaken in it yet.
Really excellent value for what you get. Great portion sizing-even if you order just a single portion of nigiri it is easy enough to split between two people. Order the Squid tempura, especially good value and a crowd pleaser. Service was great too-took care of us without hovering and were happy to let me sit by the chefs window after I ate. Had a 90$ date night after a strong tip where we felt like we really “balled” out-not something I could say many places
