Why it took me soooo long to eat here? 7 minutes from my house. One of the best meals I've had! The service is outstanding. The wine menu and food menu.....makes it hard to choose....it all looks sooooo food. The best part is, this restaurant, gives back to the community every year. That makes them 6 star in my book!

We were referred to this restaurant by friends. All my friends know I am a foodie and we are constantly looking for great restaurants to dine at as a family especially in the Sugar Land area. I am very observant of all the particulars during our dining experience - service, menu, appetizers, main course, desserts, and the men's restroom. I called the restaurant earlier to make Réservations, the gentleman on the phone and I talked for a few minutes about the quaint restaurant and he mention they don't take Réservations. He assured me if we arrive there around 5pm we would be able to sit down. They open at 5pm for dinner. We arrived at 530 and were immediately seated at the table with our 7 yr old son and n-laws. As luck would have it, our waiter recognized my voice. He was the gentleman who spoke to me on the phone earlier - Desmond. Once seated, I went to the men's restroom to wash my hands. The men's restroom was spotless. This is very important especially with families with kids. After the visit to the restroom, my confidence started to grow that our dining experience might be good. However, I never get my hopes up until the end of the night. We ordered appetizers - Breakfast for dinner and the Shrimp Marco. Delicious!! I love bacon especially with a little sweet and spicy kick and deviled eggs (breakfast for dinner). Our son ate most of the deviled eggs. I could have eaten both dishes by myself. Now, I ordered the coffee crusted filet with potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Incredible flavors and taste. After the first bite, I knew this dish should be eaten slowly with very thin slices of filet in each bite to fully enjoy the experience. Also, my father n law ordered the French onion soup. I have never seen this soup in the presentation it was delivered in. The top of the soup look like a Rocky Mountain with croutons and cheese all on top. I had to have a taste and my father n law obliged. Goodness - the soup warmed my soul. Never had a French onion soup that taste sooo good. My wife and son shared the Capellini. I had a small bite of the shrimp. Very tasty as well. Finally, we ordered two desserts - Bread Pudding and Lemon Chess Pie. We shared the desserts. After 3 minutes, the desserts were gone. The dishwasher will have the easiest time washing our plates. The final treat of the night enamored our son - Cotton Candy dessert for a celebratory early birthday surprise. Needless to say, our son ate the entire dessert. I only had the pleasure to say a wish and blow out the candle, which was fine by me. Anything to keep the kids happy!! This restaurant batted a 1000% and exceeded our expectations. All dishes on their menu are made from scratch. The owner stopped by our table to introduce himself and Desmond provided excellent service. We left this restaurant with anticipation to our next visit to dine again at Brandini's. This is my first public review of a restaurant and by far the most characters I ever posted in a review. Great Job to all the staff at Brandini's!!!!
