Harvest On Fort Pond Montauk

I couldn't skip this restaurant because my friend who lives nearby and other friends who went to Montauk before recommended. Can't complain it! The restaurant was so pack and busy. Honestly, I'm not crazy about the hype but my husband who build up so much of our friends, but we had our dog with us so DOG WON'T AOLLOWED EVEN ON THE DECK. "PLEASE REMEMBER THAT" No matter what reasons the restaurant wants to avoid the trouble that can happened and It isn't worth of their lost, and I don't think they care for this reason, if you don't like it, don't eat here but if you want to go for the hype you have to take it. So NO DOG AT ALL, Understood? We ordered for takeout anyway. I found out the information before but by husband still want to order from them, that was fine. The style of this restaurant is family style, so everything is bigger potion like 2 ppl per order and the price, of course double. So my husband and I like a different thing, so we force to order, then we got huge amount of 4 people. When I went to pick up, my order wasn't ready, so I had a chance to walk around enjoy stunning sunset view from the restaurant. This view you can't buy from somewhere unless you will see it by your own eyes. The bartender was good and polite. Like I said I hate that they don't allow dog even outside, but the view and service is good plus view. Food taste good, We order so much food. - Penne Pasta: I love it! so good with mushroom and asparagus $48 - Skirt Steak: delicious, my husband loves it probably good. $67 - Watercress Salad: I personally couldn't live without vegetable so I don't want to eat regular salad when I'm not vacation. A bit pricy even the potion for two ppl without meat. - Lamb Ribs: on the websit said appetizer but when I got it, seemed to be main and the price is $54 - Calamari Salad: so so for $34 - Chocolate torte: it is okay $18 The hype? Yes, everyone knows it, why not? Delicious? Yes, food is good. Ambiance? Yes, romantic and memorable. PS. We brought back our food to our hotel and eat in the garden like a king without anyone around, actually it was better than sharing space with packed of ppl in the restaurant.
