This park has been cleaned up a lot compared to how it’s been in the past. There are newer courts now, and a couple different playgrounds to choose from. It’s a great place to bring kids to play or to take dogs on a walk. The only reason I knocked a star off is because it’s not too uncommon to have sketchy people or teenagers being obnoxious hanging out in the parking lot because the park is pretty shielded by trees. I don’t necessarily feel unsafe there at all, but I’d prefer it if my toddler didn’t have to play ten feet away from some teenager’s cigarette smoke.

As someone who used to be homeless I just want to point out that this park has outlets in a covered area that's open to the public. Nice clean place though so if you visit please contribute to that culture rather than choose to contribute to the contamination of our beautiful environment. The park itself it's huge and a great place for a family outing.

Large, beautiful park with areas for many different activities. There are both wooded areas (with some small trails) and open areas that would be great for a picnic. They have buildings for rent, with the lodge being the largest and most attractive. It's basically a large log cabin with an attached garden-esque area.
