Wow! What a find. This food is out of the world. This is southern BBQ done right. We ordered the sampler platter and was amazed by the tender selection of meats. The brisket was amazing. The sauce was on point. Not overpowering in heat or sweet. The serving was huge. It was way more than two of us could begin to touch. The baked beans were generous and delish. I am not a beer drinker so I cant discuss the beer but the Hard Cider was great. This is a legit BBQ place. You must make the drive and find it. Today!!
I finally got around to trying out Big's BBQ during Heritage Days and I was not disappointed. Started off by trying a pulled pork sandwich downtown. It made me even more hungry, so I had to go check out the rest of the joint. My son and I tried The Pineapple Express. The sausage was great, nice kick to it. My son normally doesn't like sausage, but he loved that sandwich. I also sampled a couple of their brews and loved the Penny Scrapper. Way back when I was stationed in Germany and that's when I got my taste for beer, so it's great knowing that there's a place so close that is brewing beer good enough to rival what I remember. I'm looking forward to trying more of their beers and their own root beer too. Big's BBQ, I hope you guys will be around for a long time. Keep at it like you are and you're gonna need a bigger place.

The meat is incredible had the pulled pork, Iowa bbq pie, and the new burnt ends it was all delicious. The sides leave a lot to be desired not a lot of flavor and just bagged chips but they are good chips. The burnt ends as an appetizer was pretty greasy but great flavor. We will be back!
We stopped in for a late lunch today. Since we haven't eaten there before, we ordered Big's Family Sampler. It includes pulled pork, ribs, chicken and smoked sausage (which they were out of the sausage :( but put in extra pulled pork) along with 3 sides. Such a good choice for first timers! The meat has such a great smoke flavor and the dipping BBQ sauce was yummy. Really enjoyed the coleslaw. So glad this place is close to home.

Awesome atmosphere with a very accommodating staff. I highly recommend anyone within 8-10 hour ride to swing by and give it a shot! It’s totally worth it!
