Dover Straits provided a delightful dining experience. The ambiance was inviting, the service impeccable, and the dishes, especially the seafood, were fresh and flavorful. However, the rice was a little undercooked and the sliced potatoes that were offered as special is very greasy. Stay with their baked potatoes, you’ll never go wrong. Overall, still a truly enjoyable evening. This is our third time here. We travel from NYC and visit a dear friend who always brings us to this seafood restaurant for dinner. It's heartening to see that the place still thrives after so many years, and the familiar faces of the workers add a sense of continuity. However, it would have been nice if they could elevate the choice of music during dinner. Despite this, the overall experience remains enjoyable.

Wow, I pass this place all the time and I finally made it inside! The staff is truly amazing, I felt a real warm welcome when I entered! It's been in business for over 45 years! I ordered the Golden Tilapia filet! It was cooked perfectly and you get a choice of baked potatoe, rice of the day or roasted potatoes, I chose the roasted potatoes and these were the best potatoes I've ever had! You also get a choice of salad or soup! I got the clam chowder, I have to say that there wasn't enough clams in the soup! My husband had the sautéed jumbo shrimps, it was really tasty and very tender, not overcooked! The atmosphere was quiet and elegant, definitely will be going back! Our waitress Terri was very pleasant, helpful and funny!
