This is the best Captain D's to choose from at the beach. I went here yesterday with my 7 mo old child and my mother, to celebrate her birthday. My mom has loved Captain D's forever so this was something nice to do for her since she's disabled and can't drive anywhere. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed the cashier was very friendly to the people ahead of us, unlike the other Captain D's off Kings HWY. When it came our turn to order, she was very polite and didn't rush us. Once our order was placed, I tried to find a booth as far away as possible from other diners, as to not disturb them with my baby (he was cranky from being woke up from his nap). The food came incredibly fast and the lady who brought our food who I assume is the store manager, was very kind to us. We were checked on several times by the employee's to make sure everything was fine. Very very pleasant experience. The whole place was tidy, neat, and I couldn't believe there was actual silverware being used here! Food was cooked perfectly and well portioned. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

I went there to try the grilled fish thinking it would be dry and gross. I was happily surprised that I was wrong. The fish was not at all dry and in my opinion, perfectly cooked!!! I know! Right? And my platter included shrimp which everybody over Cooks. Even good seafood restaurants overcook shrimp! No exaggeration here, mine were perfectly done. The manager took our order and she was sweet as could be from start to finish. When I told her how well cooked the fish and shrimp or she smiled from ear-to-ear. The only reason I gave a four as opposed to a five is because the rice was really hard and overcooked. Otherwise, it far exceeded my expectations for a fast food grilled fish restaurant

Great food. Decent prices. Natasha, who works at the counter, always goes out of her way to ensure guest satisfaction. She is made for hospitality. Great personality. All other staff we've encountered are pleasant but she stood out above the rest.
