One of the best (Handmade) Chesse Burgers in the country. Baked potato as well! Also has some of the best cakes for deserts! !Wonderful Service!
A Great Place For A Relaxed Meal and Cocktails. GB's is a Riverbend treasure and neighborhood favorite! The burgers and other menu choices are above standard bar fare. The desserts, made by Gerald, are decadent! Speaking of Gerald, I saw a previous post that labeled Gerald as "the worst waiter". I emphatically disagree! Instead, I would say that he is one of the best, if not THE BEST, in all of New Orleans. He goes beyond what is expected to serve his customers well. All of the staff at GBs is friendly, fun and upbeat. You won't be disappointed if you pay GBs a visit!

The food was descent, ad the patio was great. We did wait around 20-25 minutes for our food to come, our server was scarce (they were busy) but very nice, and our burgers, while tasty, we're overcooked for our orders. Overall, it was a good place to eat a burger lunch!

Good burgers.... This is a good place for solid "pub fare". Ive found few places here in NOLA that offer what I consider a standard burger/ american fare menu. Nothing extravagant or off the wall, but good meat and potatoes. An interesting set up where the bar is separated from the dining area with a large covered patio. Even in the middle of winter, space heaters allowed diners to enjoy the outdoors. Although seldom disagreeing with Mr. Cannata's review, Ive got to contest his opinion on the wings. Not the typical buffalo wings, but instead closer to fried chicken, with hot sauce and blue cheese on the side. An interesting alternative and rather tasty when steaming hot. 01/2011
Good basic grill, bar food, no wait at around 8:30 pm. Reasonable prices. Nice patio area with large t.v. and fans to stay cool.

Great fresh burgers! Be sure to bring a big appetite and time on your hands. It takes time to make a freshly ground burger. The service is great too. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the burgers are a favorite!
They have great food and beer specials so you can dine on a budget. I had chili cheese dog with fries- $7 and Yuelang beer- $2. My friend had hamburger steak with potatoes and side salad-$14. You can also get mixed drinks.This is a place for locals. People bring their kids to dine in back room. It's small but highly functional. Basic dishes nicely prepared. 1 page menu.The staff is great. Big patio. (There is a schedule on when there is outdoor service). There are TV screens on sports channels in each room, only 2 rooms, with the sound off.
Eat here frequently, sometimes meeting other friends who enjoy the place. Haven't had anything bad. Filet, ribeye, hamburgers, salads or baked potato. Actually, there isn't a bad menu item on the Menu. Gerald is a great and attentive waiter who has been there for years and knows his repeat customers very well!
