Fantastic Italian food that shouldn’t be missed. The veal parmagianno is very good. Plenty of great wine choices. Roving musicians to top off a wonderful meal.

Beyond Wonderful!. Angelo's was highly recommended by a family member who knows NYC and knows Italian food. How could we go wrong? Well, we didn't! It was busy when we arrived for dinner on 1/23/15, and yet we had reservations, and waited only a few minutes. The Maitre D' was busy, yet very pleasant, engaging in a conversation with us. When he seated us, I clumsily tripped on the step going into the back room, and spilled my white wine all over him and me. I was mortified, and kept apologizing. He assured me that it was not a problem, and joked that he was glad it wasn't red wine! He seated us, and then brought me another glass of wine.

Dinner was incredible! We shared the calamari. The batter was nice and light, and it was delicious. My husband ordered the bouillabaisse, which was superb. My veal parmesan was also divine.

On our way out, I went over to the Maitre D', and thanked him, and told him that we looked forward to seeing him next time. He kissed me on both cheeks, and gave me a hug! Then, he did the same for my husband!

That meal and experience was the beginning of one of our best weekend trips to NYC!
