The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was a little slow and haphazard but we were a large party of 7 so that may have had something to do with it. Reasonably priced. I'd definitely go back.

Russian Treat. Where should we eat before going to the theater? How about a place honoring Anton Chekhov? Cozy candlelight, a glass of wine, hot borsch on a cold night, and your lady's eyes across the table. The food was great. My Salmon Kulebiaka (a salmon wrapped in a pastry) was really delicious. The beginning of a night to remember.

It tastes like home. I love it. I love this place. I have been to Russia and lived with a family when I was young. This is as close as you will come to a home cooked Russian meal. The place is cozy and just makes you want to sit there for hours . Ohh, and the musician that they have there is amazing. The waiter told he plays every night. I have been 5 times in the last month to this cafe.

Authentic. The food is just like the good food in Russia.
Which I know well.
Russian food is wonderful, this is a great place to try it!
(And the prices are startlingly reasonable.)
