There were 8 party in our party with reservations at 5:30. The service in the beginning was good but our meals were very slow coming out. The door to the patio was opened just before our meals came out and the flies were coming in. I asked our server if the door could be closed and she said she would check. She never came back with an answer. I asked a woman ,whom I believe may have been the owner , the same question. This was after a fly landed in my salad. Her reply was “it’s summer and a few flies won’t hurt you”. Needless to say, I never ate my salad and could not wait to leave the restaurant.i will not return to Olesia’s again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely wonderful! From the beautiful venue, to the live music, the ambiance, the service, the drinks, the food... I could go on and ON! We ordered a bunch of things to share, and every bite was better than the next! The bar was packed, so was the dining room, and yet our service remained attentive and never hurried. The chef/owner was touching tables throughout the evening making sure everyone was having a great experience - She was so hospitable & gracious despite what I am sure was a slammed evening in the kitchen! Coming from the fine dining service world, I can sometimes be a tough critic, but Olesia's Place checked every box for us. We had a fabulous meal and evening, and can't wait to return!
Been there many times, never had a bad meal, always fantastic. If you have room after a great dinner the desserts are to die for, especially the creme brulee....it was fantastic.
Great food as always. However the menu online has not been updated in months. We have called it to their attention and is still not changed. Not a good business practice. Other than that love the food will always go back and I was happy to report that they finally fix the bathroom door handle as I got locked in there the other day. What fun

We had the most wonderful Mother's Day Brunch at Olesia's. The pre-set menu was fantastic with perfect options for our party of 11. Our group ranged from age 8 to age 78 and every single person loved every dish served to us. We sat in our own sun room area and were treated like royalty. Olesia herself served our dessert. From the appetizers, to entrees, to dessert...it was beyond delicious from start to finish.
This is a nice cozy restaurant and bar with a sunroom seating in the front part. The menu has a nice section of Eastern European and Ukrainian food and beers. I simply loved the stuffed cabbage and potato pierogies entree. Happy hour is 2 to 6 p.m. and all day Tuesday.
The entire menu is a must try. The borscht was warm and sublime. The cheburek with the horseradish dip was comforting, but light. I tried the stuffed cabbage with both the tomato and mushroom sauces. Much to my surprise, I preferred the mushroom sauce, but they were both fabulous. The three pierogis, potato, mushroom, and sauerkraut, like Larry, Curly, and Moe are equally pleasurable and meld perfectly while maintaining individuality.
The very best scratch Ukrainian and Eastern European cuisine! Olescia and her wonderful staff make it extraordinary and a weekly favorite of mine❣️🌹✨
Found this spot while hunting for some rare bourbon. I was greeted by extremely friendly staff and some delicious Ukranian bites.
One of the locals sitting up at the bar also bought me a beer. I can't say enough great things about Olesia's. I will definitely return next time I'm in Ohio. 😁
Their prices are a bit high for traditional style food, but the portions are good and it is delicious. The staff was very friendly and there wasn’t much of a wait for seating, so overall it seems like a nice place. There is some room for improvement as it was very noisy and as for the lighting. It was a little hard to read the menu.
