What a gem! Discovered this place while meandering through Thorne's on an impromptu overnight trip to Northampton. Our quick 'stop in for a drink' turned into... well, a lot more than *one* drink. And a 'tapas' snack turned into dinner. Two hours at the bar later, we left for our East Heaven reservation... after which we popped back for a dessert wine. I hope more people discover this place, and recognize that you can easily eat a meal (or more!) here. The staff were as knowledgeable as I'd expect at a place that calls itself a 'wine bar', but as casual and conversational as I'd expect in a setting like NoHo. Please come eat and drink here! We want to make sure they will still be here when we come back for another visit soon. (90 minutes isn't too far to drive for a treat like this, right?) :) You won't be disappointed!

What an adventure! I have been 2x. The first visit was for a glass of wine and light snacks. The waitress spent time with us going over the wine list and was very knowledgeable and upbeat. We ended up with 2 fantastic glasses and learned a bit about the wine. The atmosphere was spectacular for a date. Cozy, old world, easy, comfortable. Our second visit was even better. We ordered a flight of wine (4 1/2 glasses) there were 2 of us. Sebastian, the manager came and sat with us and gave us an entire lesson regarding Malbec. He was informative, charismatic, and simply lovely. It turned into an event! Better than going to the movies for a date. We had salad (very fresh), and Hummus plate. I noticed they have outside seating now as well. Long awaited-perfect night.

Just plain awesome. Great and knowledgeable staff; makes you feel welcome and never snobbish when asking simple things like how to pronounce this or that or, ya know, what microclimate Georgian orange wine varietals are best... ;)
