The "Anticuchos" a popular Peruvian plate is the best that we have tasted in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Danessi, the owner, is a great person... the tasting and the owner are the best of this place.

It might look like a hole in the wall.. but food was Really good . On the dot with flavors. Tallarin verde con bistec, and rice chaufa with mariscos. Not so greasy, clean and well seasoned.

If you are Peruvian, you are going to love this place. This is the way Anticuchos were meant to be eaten. The spices and preparation is spot on and you would be hard-pressed to find a better place to get anticuchos even if you went to Peru itself. The sides are no slackers either as the grilled potatoes somehow end up tasting great as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant is spot on as well. It isn't the neatest or most spacious, the owner is boisterous and commanding, and it feels so right. If you were wondering where Peruvians go to eat Peruvian food, this is it. This isn't five star cuisine, but it's not supposed to be either. This is street food, but street food done at its best.
