Best Restaurant in Monmouth County. This is by far better than any restaurant in Monmouth County and I've been to them all (including Nicholas!). It's not old school Italian like most Italian places at the shore. You won't find the traditional chicken parm or pasta with meatballs but what you will find is some of the most imaginative and delightful dishes around. You'll even see other international influences - especially on the specials. Had an escargot appetizer the other day that was beyond amazing. The French are great but the Italians are better! :) Not sure why this is listed as a sandwich place as well as the only sandwich I can think of on the menu is on the bar/lunch menu. But it is one fantastic burger. It comes with truffle cheese and perfectly done waffle fries. That menu, along with half portions on some dinners are available at the bar - great alternative if you aren't terribly hungry and want to save a few bucks. do yourself a favor and go!

Came bc of gift certificate from work and blown away by the freshness and quality of food and atmosphere. Appetizers: fried calamari (next level than your average), romaine Gouda salad (nice blend of flavors), burrata salad (never had mozzarella like this before! So refreshing and melts in your mouth!) Shrimp rigatoni for dinner- very good and homemade pasta was delicious Lattes and Italian cheesecake for dessert!

Recently had a private party at this restaurant and it could not have been better. The food was amazing, the waiter was great and friendly and the chef or owner came to thank us and see if everything was good. These people really know how to run a great restaurant and treat their customers. Will definitely be back!! The best chicken parm I ever had.
