This place was absolutely the best fish taco place I've ever been to. Their take on the regular SoCal Mexican food is fantastic! All seafood!
This place is the best! When we visit San Diego this place is our first stop for great food and service! Thanks Stef for being sooo kind!
My husbands friends recommended this place, I’m usually skeptical of their recommendations as manly diets usually consist of nacho cheese and fried anything. It.is.d e l i c i o u s!!!! EVERTHING! Tacos, burritos, ceviche, etc. This has become a weekly stop for us. The staff is super friendly too, Trizanne and Estefania are the best!
My family is from Mazatlan Sinaloa and this restaurant is truly authentic! ♥️
The current Oceanside Magazine featured Miramar in their 20 Best Fish Tacos so I thought I'd try it out. I got the Octopus tacos which were featured in the magazine. They were interesting. Never eaten Octopus before (calamari doesn't count). I'll probably try them another time but I went in again looking for a WOW! taco...and I found it! Try the seafood taco. I was stunned when I bit into it. Best taco I've ever eaten to date!
Hands down the best Mexican seafood restaurant around. Fresh and oh so delicious! They welcome you like family, it is like eating at their home. Each plate is deliciously prepared with a lot of love.
Their fish tacos! Wow! After the first bite, said to myself, "this is definitely one of the best, if not, the best fish tacos I've had." The quality of the fish and batter just set themselves apart from the other fish tacos I've had. Definitely coming back. Quick and friendly service too.
My husband and I are visiting from GA and this was on our top list of places to eat once we got off the plane. Johnny was our server and he went above and beyond. He provided great drink and taco recommendations, plus ensured our order was specific to my dietary needs. The drinks were great but the food was even better! Added a few photos. We are big foodies and recommend this place 10/10.
The Seafood Burrito is my go to! Followed by smoked fish tacos! Micheladas are the bomb!
Hey, if you enjoyed my review or found it helpful please hit the like button. My buddy and I travel all over Southern California, Nevada and Arizona selling steak, seafood and chicken off a truck. We hit every dive bar and greasy spoon along the way, I give you the debts, you should follow me.
I had a little company over the other night and I had seen this little place tucked between the Wingstop and 7-11 on Douglas by the 76. The parking here is terrible, although the lot is big and well lit, way worth it. I asked Johny, who has worked here for about six months, most of the other employees have worked here since it opened in 2014. Johny was excited to tell me about the place and was quite proud of the product they put out. Happy, compensated, long term employees are the secret sauce, Johny confidently promised me we would return. (He was 100% on that)
Their Covis -19 protocols were relaxed a bit like most. They did have indoor seating as well as seating in their quaint patio. Ideally at this place you want to sit at the bar and sample their wide selection of local micro beers or one of their many wines. This would be a great place to bring a date.
The place has a jazzy atmosphere and I believe Johny that the place gets packed, it was doing brisk business when I popped in to grab an order to go near closing time.
I asked what the specialty was and he said the smoked tuna tacos but they were out. I can't wait to try those. I ordered a couple of the shrimp Diablo (I like really spicy and they defiantly didn't dissapoint), regular shrimp tacos, fish tacos, steak tacos and chicken. They were all absolutely fantastic, we raved about them all night long. Their tacos run about $4 each, they are not trying to make the cheapest taco, clearly they want to be the best taco you have ever eaten. I can see why Johny was so proud of their tacos and certain I would return.
The 3 grilled fish tacos for $10 at happy hour were fantastic! Oscar was so accommodating! Can't wait to go back!
