Have been here multiple times in the past. Pre-COVID it was a chill spot to have some good food and watch tv. My most recent order was the chicken teriyaki and the Super Omega roll.
Chicken teriyaki - 2/5. Chicken and rice were plopped on a take out box. Did not look presentable or that appetizing to be honest.
Super Omega roll - 4/5. This was tasty, but not sure if it was worth the price. The taste/price ratio is a bit low in my opinion.
Service - 5/5. Very friendly staff and service.
Outdoor seating, hiding on the back side behind the main harbor thoroughfare, eateries and gift shops. Fresh sashimi and nigiri. Tasty gyoza. Great customer service. When ordering the sashimi combo ask to have the salad on the side not the same plate.
Awesome sushi! I get rainbow rolls in most places as one of the rolls to help compare (standard). They had a unique touch of using sesame seeds on theirs, which was really good! The Rock and Roll was also good. Solid sushi spot.
I have been to this place 6 or 7 times in the past 3 months. Small place, very well located in Oceanside's harbour, with plenty parking available. Best food, quality, super fresh products. Everything made on order, in front of your eyes. Smilling, patient and efficient service.... This has a price, and you are not in a cheap fast food. I recommend highly
Amazing place.. they’re so polite. The food is great. I loved the ramen and the sushi rolls. And they were very accommodating. I absolutely recommend this place. You leave Rising Sun Sushi feeling better... both with a nurtured body and a happy state of mind because you were treated with kindness and respect.
