30-minute wait for a late lunch... not bad considering it was freaking packed, and Smacnally's was an hour and a half wait. Pretty cool decor and atmosphere. There are lots of great local brews on tap. Everyone enjoyed their food! My chicken sandwich was awesome. Our server, Alex, was awesome. Great spot for lunch or dinner when visiting Ocracoke Island!

This was my very first time on Oracoke Island ever and the people were fabulous!!! My wife and I decided to come to Howard’s Pub for lunch!!! It was the very best decision of the day!!! The service and staff were excellent!!! The food was served promptly and it was hot and very delicious!!!! My wife and I will definitely be coming back this restaurant again when we come back to this area!!! I highly recommend this place for food you won’t be disappointed!!! My wife got the shrimp basket with fries I got the ribeye steak with Cole slaw and hush puppies. We shared the shrimp and crab dip. A+

Super cool atmosphere. Oyster shooter was cool with a commemorate shot glass. The beer version was good with a slight spice to it. Oyster was already in the glass. There are better shooters on the island but the souvenir was nice! Steamed Oysters were just ok, pretty dry and small. Tonic had a terrible taste. I had to give back my drink because I just couldn't drink it. Server at the bar was awesome.
