I absolutely love this place. My husband and I stopped by here when we were driving through Olympia. We decided to walk along the waterfront and then go to this restaurant, as it was highly rated. The food was delicious and the staffing was quick and accommodating. They sat our 2 dogs with us on the patio and in a shaded area, as it was 90゚during our visit. I had the dungeoness crab eggs benedict for breakfast, and it was delicious. I would definitely go back again.

To start with the highlights, my husband and I went there for dinner this evening and had a terrific server, Kimberly, who was very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy the view of the marina whether you dine inside or outside, and it's been clean whenever we've eaten there. We've been there during lunch and dinner on weekdays and on busy weekends. There's a decent selection of meat and seafood prepared pretty simply, with standard sides. This time we ordered a steak with green beans and a baked potato and a plate of grilled cod fish tacos and fries. The steak and sides were flavorful and cooked well for a flat top steak, but there were a couple things that would have improved the tacos. Firstly, they were served with the sauce and pico de gallo underneath the fish, which I've never seen anywhere else. This made the flour tortillas soggy. The tacos were also sat on top of the fries, which then made the fries soggy right away. Flavor wise, we were satisfied with our orders, and a few easy changes would have made the tacos and fries a lot better. The food is familiar and reliable but not exciting, which is just fine if that's what you're looking for.

1st visit: Not a bad joint! Water views, fantastic and genuine and attentive wait staff, and standard fare food. 2nd visit: Found easy seating in the bar/lounge area and they have a bartender that gives just absolutely top notch service. Had the ribeye and a cocktail that didn't disappoint.

We like coming here! My husband brought me for my birthday recently and we got the crab boil for 2. The portion was pretty generous, and oh boy was it amazing! I love how they elevated the flavors a bit and added scallops to the sauce. We also had the beer tasting paired with oysters which was delightful. I can't wait for another opportunity to go back! Their food is amazing, and the waitress really did a great job explaining the menu and recommendations.

Great clam chowder and mussels. Shrimp for lunch was pretty darn good too. Nice views of bay and a hop away from the hands on children’s museum if you are there.

Spending Thanksgiving in Olympia and not having anywhere planned for dinner we popped into Budd Bay. They had opened up their bar area to accommodate more diners for TK so we were shown to a table straight away. They had a traditional TK menu and we both went for the Traditional with all the trimmings which was really enjoyable. Even managed to save room for desert. Thank you to all the friendly staff for making a TK to remember.

Really flavorful salmon here- we got the cedar plank salmon and the tri-citrus honeybutter salmon. Our server Lindsey was super quick, kind and knew the menu inside out. Nice and cozy seating, we got a table easily on a Tuesday evening and really loved our meals!
