This is our third time here (lunch, group dinner, & happy hour) and it is highly recommend! We went right at the beginning of happy hour today and ordered oysters, the smoked muscles, and the smoked fish spread. The bartender was personable and great conversationalist! For drinks we had the house Chardonnay, Plank’s Mule, cucumber collins, port old fashion, and two drinks of “dealers choice” from the bartender. All were amazing
We had a fantastic early dinner before a concert. All day happy hour on Sundays was a bonus! Oysters and beignets for appetizers were great, and we loved our scallops and salmon entrees. Cocktails were good as well.
Looks like I've been on a roll lately. Two places in a row gets 5 stars all around. First time eating here and I'm glad we did. It's in a great area in walking distance to many other restaurants and small stores. We even passed a guy playing jazz on a sax as we walked to the restaurant. I love that type of atmosphere.
We felt very comfortable once we got inside. The windows everywhere gives the place an energetic yet serene vibe.
Our server was amazing and made us feel very welcomed. She made sure that we were satisfied with all of our needs. Very professional and courteous. I'm very bad at remembering names but she was the best.
Everything we ordered was top notch delicious. The smoked fish dip and crackers with pickled red onion was foreign to my taste buds and very flavorful. I don't care for onions but these were very good.
I ordered the blackened catfish and my wife ordered the Atlantic salmon. Our two sides were roasted potatoes and charred broccolini. For dessert I had banana bread pudding with caramelized bananas and ice cream and my wife had something that was chocolate on chocolate with peanut butter. She said it was very sweet. My dessert was perfect and went great with my rooibos vanilla tea. Everything was great. No complaints.
